Ok, so i have a 3 hour english exam. Sounds kinda daunting. If thats not enough, my wrist (which at the moment is rather fcuked up) will only let me write for 2 hours tops (learnt that in a mock exam).

So, they arrange for a nurse to bring an ice pack into the exam, after about an hour and a half. Sounds good!! be able to relieve the pain and keep writing.

So, i go into the exam, bearing in mind i have another exam (performance studies PRACTICAL) in the afternoon. Therefore, i need my wrist to be ok for later on.

Luckily I was wearing my splint in the exam...

This is what actually happened...

I'm sat, writing away, wrist is starting to twinge, don't worry too much, nurse will be in soon. So, I look up at the clock...

(exam started at 9)

the time: 11:15

I think, hang on, where's the nurse?
She never appeared...

For those of you who have attended Budmouth, you will probably know of the exams officer Elaine Whyte.

three words: she-is-shit!

She comes up to me at THE END of my exam and says: "Are you ok? I've just got this email about your wrist..."
The email was sent in may!

So, I was pretty pissed off at this, as u can gather.

Now, i have an exam tomorrow, i have to go to work (which i think involves the likes of Rik Waller [kill me NOW!]) and revise for an exam which I know i am not going to do well in!

So, there's my rant. Just needed to get it off my chest...

How is everyone?

Haven't updated for a while, so thought I would. Too be honest, I haven't had the best week....

So remember the wrist story? well, I went toddling off back to Dorch Hospital. I got there, and they told me that I will never have more than half of the movement than in my other wrist...EVER!!! Basically, I will, in effect, have only half a wrist. So, I was rather angry at this. The fact is, is weymouth and risk-it had done their jobs properly, and got off of their arses, I would have a fully movable wrist. So, do I take legal action? Well, this is the question, but I may look into it anyways!

Well, hope everyone else is ok, we should all meet up again sometime! what ya think...?

Hey everybody!

How is everyone? hope you all had a great christmas, and a fab new year as well. Hope this year is a good one for all of you :)

Well, a lot has happened since my last entry. For those who might not know, I had to have an operation on my wrist...

'Twas November 9th. I remember this because it was a sad day for me. That morning, my great auntie had passed away after a fifty year battle with cancer. So I guess I was feeling a little fragile at the time. Anyways, I was at sixth form that day, trying to taking my mind off of it. Any how (for those who went to sixth form) there are these four steps in our block. Now I had walked up and down these stairs sooo many times, but for some reason today was different. I was holding all of my folders in my left hand....

I still don't quite know what happened, but somehow I fell. I didn't fall awkwardly, I didn't have to! About a year before I 'sprained' my wrist badly. So, falling over again, I thought it was the same thing. I was told that I was right! That it was just a sprain, and to keep it up. However, it got worse. So I went up to good old Weymouth and Risk-it hospital, they did an x ray, and decided to send me to Dorchester...

Here's where the story ends. Basically, when I had 'sprained' my wrist the year before, I had snapped 95% of my ligament in my wrist. This fall had snapped the rest. I had to have a tendon taking from my forearm and pinned into place. I was in a plaster cast for 6 weeks, and a splint after that...

The kewl bit, was that i had keyhole surgery, so the scars aren't too bad. I do need physio, but that's something to think about when the time comes...

So, I had quite an eventful end to the year (especially when Keith Duffy signed my cast!)

Hey Hey!!!!

Haven't been on here for some time, so thought I'd update!

Hope everyone had a great summer! I know I saw a few of you, but still!

Hope your all settled back into uni. I'm applying now! seems weird that time's gone so fast and that this time next year i'll be in uni myself! (well, hopefully anyways!)

Speaking of uni, my keithy's gone to Southampton now. I believe he's liking it (are you?). I do miss him tho, just the little things like a hug, or hearing a song that reminds me of some time. But still, I'll be seeing him soon (YAY!!!) so thats cool!

Well, not sure what else to say, how is everyone???

Okay, so this isnt some crappy song lyrics, or a quoiz that i have done to fill lost time, its just a normal post from me!

So, did an awakeathon for children in need- syayedawake for 24 hours!!! slept lots after that!!

then on wednesday I went to the hospital and discoveredthat I had badly sprained my wrist!! so now I have a support bandage and a splint (is that what its called?) on! Great eh? specially as Ive got to do a performance next week which includes dance!!!

So yeah, how are y'all?
